Two men are standing on the platform of a metal scaffold in front of a modern block of flats. Both are wearing white safety helmets. The man on the left is wearing a light-coloured polo shirt and has his hands on his hips. The man on the right is wearing a white shirt, a grey jacket and dark trousers, and is looking at the other man. In the background, the façade of a residential building with balconies can be seen.
IN TUNE WITH THE TIMES

INNOVATIVE THROUGH TRADITION.

The future has long since arrived here. Here, we’ll show you exactly how.

“Our aim is to provide affordable and sustainable housing for future generations as well.”

In addition to the attractive residential units, there is a nursery (run by the ‘Stadtküken’ organisation) situated in the heart of the neighbourhood, as well as numerous green spaces, play areas and communal spaces that encourage interaction and strengthen a sense of community.

Flat sizes range from 40 to over 100 square metres. The buildings have been designed and constructed to be energy-efficient – and meet modern standards for sustainable building. They all feature convenient lifts, rooftop solar panels and a smart underground waste collection system. A mobility concept comprising cycle parking, underground car park spaces and electric vehicle charging points rounds off the scheme.

The first residents were able to move in in autumn 2024, with the final move-ins taking place at the end of 2025. The LOK67 project epitomises our commitment to creating contemporary, affordable and sustainable housing in Hamburg – for people who want to live right in the heart of the city whilst seeking a home with a genuine sense of community.

MODERNISATIONS

OUR COMMITMENT TO QUALITY PAYS OFF.

We are constantly modernising our housing stock to ensure that our flats remain comfortable, safe and energy-efficient in the long term. In doing so, we take a close look at:

  • How sound is the building structure?
  • How much maintenance is required?

Based on this information, we assess which measures are appropriate.

The needs of our members are our top priority – thanks to these maintenance works, they can look forward to greater comfort and modern facilities in their flats. During the renovation phases, we provide active support through our social management team. If major modernisation work is required, such as lift refurbishments, we provide temporary alternative accommodation for the duration and assist with the move. We also place particular emphasis on encouraging neighbourly support in such cases.

Naturally, sustainability and climate protection play a major role in our initiatives. Whether it’s solar panels, district heating or innovative heating systems – we focus on solutions that reduce energy consumption and make our KAIFU flats fit for the future.

Our aim is clear: high-quality flats that provide long-term satisfaction, save costs and make our members’ everyday lives easier in the long term.
